Testing methods for mosquito repellent effect:

The following is a list of testing methods for floral water (belonging to repellents) (GB/T 13917.9-2009):

1. Select 4 or more attack qualified testers, draw a 50*50mm skin excursion on the back of each hand of both hands, and evenly apply the repellent in accordance with the dosage of 1.5ug/cm2 (liquid) or 1.5mg/cm2 (paste), with the other hand as a blank control.

2. Apply the repellent for 2h, put the hand into the cage for 2min, and observe whether there are mosquitoes come to stop and suck blood. After that, test every 1h, as long as there is a mosquito to come to suck blood is judged as repellent failure. Record the effective protection time of the repellent (h).
